Final Fantasy XIII

The first thing you'll notice about this game is it's amazing presentation; the graphics are incredible (at least on the PS3 version), the in-game movies are awesome, the menus are really stunning, the battle system is quick and intuitive, etc. I've been a big fan of this franchise since FFVII was released and have played all of the FF games since then. Overall, this game is by far the best when it comes to presentation, but that's to be expected on this generation of consoles. The worlds are massive and look great.

Final Fantasy XIII: Limited Edition Bundle

I ordered this product because of the size of the hard drive (250GB) that came with it and the additional controller. It is a good value and I did not want one of the newer 360s, as I had heard good reviews of the Jasper chipset and wasn't sure about the long term stability of the newer versions. However, I am displeased with Amazon, since there was no notice that the faceplate was free if you added it to your cart at the same time. I tried later to call them and get it and was denied since I did not have them together in the cart at the same time.

Chrono Trigger

I have played Chrono Trigger since it's original SNES release and it is still one of my top 5 video games. It is the apex of Japanese-style RPGs - engrossing story, entertaining combat system, incredible soundtrack, numerous innovations.

The DS version takes the original and adds a few changes; my only possible complaint would be that it's possible to get some great items in the Arena which make the game much easier on a first play - not that this game is designed to be exceptionally challenging, nor is it designed to be a single play through game.
